Merry Day #12....

~Welcome to my ~

Merry Day #12

Today is the 3rd Sunday of Advent or Gaudete Sunday: REJOICE the Lord is near!

Today I have so much joy for answers to my prayers on a private intention. For three years, I have prayed, I have asked others to pray for a special intention of mine. Where once I was bleak and searching for an answer, for hope...over the last few months I have seen fruit after fruit in answer to those prayers.

A reminder...to remain steadfast in prayer and in heart, for God hears the secret call of our hearts.

And with a Thankful Heart I rejoice, praise and give thanks!

Today I shall share all of the stocking finishes I have done this year....

Also some of you have asked about the pattern to my "Doves in the Window" mug rug. It was a free pattern that you can access  HERE

Until tomorrow!

  1. I am happy to hear that you are seeing answers to your prayers, prayers really do work even when we don't see it clearly. Vonna have a wonderful Sunday and may the coming week bring much happiness. Love and hugs from Arizona

  2. Do you choose the finishing fabrics or do your clients provide them for you? Glad you’re back! Merry Christmas!

    1. Bottom line is: I do what my client wants me to do. Some don't want any of the selection process, they just want me to do what I do. Others want to have some selection so I take photos with what selections I have here on hand. While still other clients want to direct my every move, and will send all fabrics, all extras they want incorporated into the finish. I've been finishing for the public now for 15 years, have done thousands of finishes, worked with hundreds of people and each encounter is different. I always tell people: I offer a service, not a dictatorship.
