Day 13....

~ Greetings and Warm Welcome to ~
Day 13

Today....
I've got lots planned on the old agenda :)
So a quick share with what I do to decorate in my kitchen for Christmas. All year long I have my grandmother's old Ball canning jars (complete with zinc lids) on the top of my cabinets. I love them. They remind me of her.
A couple of years ago I shared that I buy that "Buffalo Snow" from Michael's that people put around their lit villages. Well I buy it and put it in my Ball jars, add bottle brush trees and on certain ones, I rip tiny gingham homespun strips that I ripped off the yardage and make little bows...
So have a forest of "Snow Globe Ball Jars"
Top 1 Top 2 Top 3 Corner Top

Aren't they darling?

Christmas....AND winter decorations! These stay out until March :)

Then I put the "Buffalo Snow" back into a ziplock 2-gallon bag and reuse it year after year.

Easy.
Adorable.
Sweet.
Cute.

I cannot begin to tell you how many people comment on these when they come to our house.

Happy Day 13!!!!

Hugs and Love in stitches,
Vonna xxxx

  5. What a great idea. We have a lot of snowmen decorations we leave out till March. Otherwise it looks so sad after Christmas when you put everything away. Your jars are beautiful!!

  7. Oh my stars! What a wonderful idea, that I'm going to have to copy! I have a weird lighted "bar" across the middle of my kitchen and I'm always wondering what I can do to it! Merry Christmas.
