  25. i have to say that you and Priscilla Blain have really inspired me in my stitching and finishing. I told someone the other day I can hear you whispering in my ear..."Dear, those corners are not quite straight." lol in a Good Way of course. You encourage me to do my best and with some more experience I think I will get there.

  28. Your finishes are a constant inspiration so thank you for taking the time to post so many pics for us to enjoy!

I would just like to add that stars are simply beautiful no matter where one finds them whether it's in the sky or on the ceiling of a child's bedroom, whether it's on a wall to commemorate one's service or it's on the end of a child's wand. Stars are used everywhere from folk art to clothing and it's because they are beautiful and they are universal! And you, my dear, are a shining star for all you share and do!

  32. WOW! I'm tired from Just looking at the pictures. Great work! Do you get to stitch any? I have about a dozen items I need to finish. I love to stitch but not creative enough for the end product. I got the response from you on floss tube. Thank you Vonna. You're so sweet to include me in your prayers. I just want my old life back and it's just not going to happen. Life will go on. Don't work too hard! Cyndi of NC

  39. Gorgeous stuff! Beautiful finishing work. Can I ask about the finishing of the "old glory" and "thanks" pieces? They look like you finished them with an easel back? Just wondering if this is what I saw and if they are fabric covered or some other material. Thanks!

  43. your friends definitely do love and support you in all that you do Vonna. You have done some awesome and creative finishing. I see them on FB but I didn't see a few of these - that Santa mat with pocket for note was adorable and clever idea. I already commented that I loved the finish on the Button Eye Cat. So many wonderful pieces - hope mine is being delivered today so I can get in line. Hope you have a good week, every time I picture you in your finishing cave - I picture Sheldon and Penny singing that sea shanty work song - WHY? who knows - LOL - Hugs Mel

  47. These are so beautiful Vonna. I wish we lived closer so I could send all my finishing to you, I'm sure the postage to/from UK would be prohibitive otherwise I would do it!

I laughed at one of your earlier comments about corners. When I get round to making a pillow finish, I ask myself whether you would be proud of the corners or not, and if not I have to keep poking until you would!

  48. Vonna, thank you so much for sharing! I agree--there's nothing like looking at finished pieces to get all revved up about stitching!
