Happy Easter!

~ Greetings and Warm Welcome ~
to all my friends and blogging buddies!

Today I have to share...
a little Easter Gift with you.

You remember my Project Envelopes?
I love them for all my projects and they are so nice in my WIP basket and not to mention fun to fill with all my current (and languishing) projects

:)

My Market Basket Filled with Project Envelopes

Project Envelopes (January 2015)

Well I have decided that since Easter is on the way...
and Spring is here...
and it is a time of:
Renewal
Hope
Promise
and all of us are rejuvenated from a long winter...
that I would share how I make my project envelopes in a new

My Easter, Spring, I'm glad you are my friend...
gift from me to you.

Enjoy!

and remember...sharing is caring...
I give this freely and with good will.
Please give my time, creativity and work credit. If you use my tutorials for your own projects, I think that is wonderful!
I love to teach and being generous with my time and talent that God has blessed me with, is what God wishes me to do during my time here on earth...
That is why I create tutorials of written and video content...to share and help,
but it is only kind to give your teacher the credit for your learning and new skill.
Don't you agree?

Until next time...
Have a Blessed Easter!

Love and Hugs in Stitches,
Vonna xxxx

  15. Oh, what a nice treat for Easter, Vonna! I just finished watching the whole video, took notes throughout and now feel ready to tackle this myself. It's so nice that this project bag doesn't involve a zipper--zippers and I do not agree :) Thank you so much for taking the time to put the video together--I know I'll be making one of my own project bags soon! Happy Easter to you and your family :)

  37. Vonna, you are so incredibly generous! I love your project envelopes and have wanted so much to have one (or a few) of my own! I'm not a great sewer but I'll bet with your tutorial, I'll be able to make one! I totally agree with you about giving credit to the designer. I used to be a craft designer and it was a supplement to our income. It takes so much time and effort to come up with things for others to make. Just getting credit means so much!

Thank you, again, SO much!! I'm so excited to try my hand at making some for my projects! Yay!!!

Much love and many blessings - Julie

  38. Hello Vonna,

Every time that I come to read your blog it feels very much to me like I am actually, physically in your home ... sharing a cup of tea and a chat with you. I can look around and admire the way that you decorate to the seasons, how your many stitched pieces displayed on walls and on furnishings enhance the warmth and welcome of your hospitality. Not to mention your generosity of spirit. I followed your link today and sat watching your videos on Youtube and, of course, became a subscriber. How cool it was to not only watch you work but to hear your voice for the first time. You're an awesome teacher.

The project envelopes are beautiful in their simple style and their function. What a great idea and what a nice way to show off pretty fabrics while protecting your stitching projects and keep those safe and tidy.

I've also been catching up on reading your blog posts and love your stitching of An Afternoon in Paris. That design is so lovely and so dainty to look at. Can't you just see a set of them (London, Paris, New York and ???) hung together on a wall? The hot air balloons are a fab touch, don't you think?

Your poor kids having their wisdom teeth out. Ugh!!! But that was very practical of you and your DH to have it done the way you did though.

Congrats on the new fleet in your driveway. Holy cow!!! That all came together rather well didn't it? Like it was meant to be.

Happy Spring to you and yours ... though here we're expecting snow over night, having also had snow fall yesterday as well. Very depressing and somewhat frustrating. So ready for flowers and warmth and deck sitting.
    Sigh!

    Cheers!!!

I too love your project bags, and thank you again for the ones that I received.
You are by far the most giving, thoughtful person that I know. <3<3<3
I shall take a look at your video…added bonus is that I get to hear your sweet voice. :-)
