Chugga chugga...

Choo Choo!
I just finished the second in the "Hometown Holiday" series by Little House Needleworks and I'm excited to share it with you! May I present:

"Main Street Station"
by Little House Needleworks ~ Diane Williams
from the Hometown Holiday Series
Stitched on: 40 ct. Week's Dye Works Straw Linen
Stitched with: DMC and Crescent Colours as charted
Finished as an ornament

Main Street Station

I just love this series...don't you?!

Main Street Station 2

And....
stitching them on a higher count fabric and finish them as ornaments is a really great option for me....as I can't get enough handmade ornaments to suit me :)

Main Street Station 1

Here is my "Hometown Holiday" series to date...
I can just imagine an skinny tree in a crock filled with my Hometown Holiday ornaments bedecking and bedazzling its branches....

I've got my next project...
all kitted up and ready to go! I'll give a hint ~ hopefully it will turn into another ornament, and it is something that I've never done before! We will see if I am successful! (....or not....)
:o)

Until next time...
I'll be keeping my hands to work and heart to God, just like always!
Hugs in stitches,

  40. They are just beautiful Vonna and your finishing is gorgeous as always. I plan to stitch this series but can't decide if I want to do them all together somehow or individually.

Sorry I caused everything to fall out of your head over on my blog. Hopefully you were able to gather it back up and re-insert it! LOL!! It was not as bad as you thought, Denise only had 2 1/2 of the pots and flowers done! Still, bad enough to have all that to rip out.

    Have a great Holiday weekend!
