Here's to Valerie

Hello Buddies! I heard from Valerie this morning that she received my "Here's to Ewe" exchange for the SBEBB last evening. Here's what I did for her:

"Thankful for Ewe" freebie from Diane Williams and Sharon Crescent
Stitched with Crescent Colours floss
28 ct. coffee dyed evenweave
Finished as: a pillow
I wasn't totally thrilled with how the pillow came out...I WAS totally thrilled with how my deletion of "Thankful for Ewe" and insertion of "Valerie" did turn out. I think I will add this project to my 100000001 things I want to do for myself someday list - and make me a "Vonna" pillow....but all in good time.
Lazy, rainy day today...the house is straight, the toilets clean, beds (not made) but who will know? (besides you all now), it's not laundry day....SO it's stitching day...all day! I'm stitching on LHN Home of a Needlework it's an old WIP that I'm determined to get done...maybe today?!
Until next time - stitch with joy!

  17. Fabulous pillow Vonna! Love how you adapted that design - great work!

I'm looking forward to seeing your completed HOAN... I'm pretty sure I remember your WIP - you added a verse to the bottom section - which I was so impressed with at the time (hence the spooky ability to remember your WIP).

  21. Vonna,
I think your pillow is beautiful, as is everything you do!

Thanks for the comment on my morning glories. Yes, my flowers do really well and my hubby will probably thin out my plantings. I planted Moonflower with it so it should be a surprise whatever blooms, blue or white flowers! I'm impatient when it comes to flowers, but these are worth the wait!
