Exchange TO Chris

I saw on the USEBB board that Chris received her ornament that I stitched for her. I wasn't totally thrilled with the outcome, I thought it was rather larger than what I wanted it to be, but what are you gonna do?! Here it is:

Designer: Little House Needleworks ~ Diane Wililams
Taken from: Just Cross Stitch Ornaments 2007 Special Ornament Issue
Fibers: DMC as called for
Fabric: 28 ct. Smoky Blue Opalescent Silkweaver
Finished as Pinkeep Hanging Ornament

I finished a new tutorial the other day...it's in my sidebar under "The Twisted Stitcher Tutorials". It's on how to finish an "Altoid Tin" like I do it.

Alrighty then....well I have to work tomorrow, so this is short....more hours to be with my family and stitch a little before hitting the sack :)

Have a great weekend!

  9. Very pretty, Vonna! I'm currently working on this one - I knew I had to stitch it when I first saw it, for 2 reasons - one, it's by Little House Needleworks, and two, because she designed it with Indiana winters in mind. :)

  30. Vonna, it's absolutely sweet!!!
I love how you finished this design very much!
I'm also wanting to stitch this design, but now have been working on Christmas stuffs, so after Christmas I will do it for myself, I think. But the problem is I don't have the suitable colour fabric like you stitched, so I would stitch on different colour fab. I'm a bit curious how will it turn out!
By the way, have a nice week!
