My Tin Topper Exchange for Dawn

Dawn alerted me that she received my Tin Topper Exchange today for the USEBB! And here it is: Design: Prairie Schooler's *bottom motif* taken from Autumn Leaves
Fabric: 28 ct. hand-stained evenweave
Fibers: DMC
Stitched: 1 over 1

INSIDE

Handmade beaded fob I made Dawn to go with the wee scissors I put in my tins

I thought this one turned out pretty cute! I think that the inside fabric and the scissors fob made the whole exchange, because I wasn't so sure about the stitching...but I believe that Dawn liked it fine! Whoo Hoo :)

I just got home from work....no comment....and I'm looking forward to a relaxing soak in my jacuzzi tub and a chapter or two of Harry whilst I soak - I'm re-reading the whole Harry Potter saga :) Today my DH got be the "house-wife" and boy...I think I'll go to work during the week a little more often!! (*just kidding*) He shampooed all my carpets and mopped all the hardwood! YEE HAW! I came home to the freshest smelling house, sparkling hardwoods and beautiful carpet! I guess you get a lot done when you don't stitch...but shhhhh....don't tell him that! LOL!

Thanks for all the visits...you all make me smile! Until next time.....

  14. I love the tin. I like the Halloween theme going on. I would love to do a tin, but they are really hard to find here in Australia. I think I will have to take a trip to the specialist lolly shop.

  42. Think you could loan out your dh to show mine how it's done, lol! When it comes to the house, he views it as a place to get away from work about 99% of the time. I do understand, but sometimes we just have to get some projects done around here! Sigh. Can you tell there are some projects on my mind? Lol!
