Change

It was time for a change. And I'm feeling a little minimalistic...so, I decided that since I was changing I'd go with this template. I liked the look of Harmien's Blog so I changed mine....Sorry Harmien...I'm a COPY CAT :)

I have nothing to share with you based on Stitching...I'm sorry, all for exchanges, but in a few short weeks, there will once again be a "windfall" of pictures and posts...cause I've been stitching away.

On weather notes...Indiana is due for a bunch of nasty weather....freezing rain ~ to snow ~ back to freezing rain ~ then back to snow...it should prove to be wonderful I'm sure!

On a final note...I'm a Girl Scout leader and my troop's cookie orders came in...I spent the weekend fondling cookie boxes...2500 of them to be exact and hosting cookie booths at our local mall. It's been a backbreaking good time :) But soon the cookies will all be distributed!

I'll leave you with a picture of my darling baby daughter, Ellie :)

  1. Awwww, isn't Ellie adorable!!! What's that she's got (nearly) in her little fingers? Something chocolate-y? Surely not one of the cookies from the boxes??
I like the new look. I've been playing with the idea of going for a minimalistic look myself because a lot of French bloggers have really neat, white templates, and it makes their stitching stand out so much better. I can't say goodbye to my own home sweet online home, though!

  5. Ellie is soooooooo cute! I could be wrong, but from the pic, it looks like she's got red hair. I LOVE red hair! I dyed my hair red when I was younger but the look really isn't too good on an Asian. LOL. I have since gone back to my natural black (for many years now), which I'm very happy with!!

  14. We're having your weather now. I'm listening to the sleet bouncing off of the window panes. Ellie is a beautiful child and she looks really intelligent, too. I bet she's a handful. ;)

  16. Hello dear one, I will join in the ooing and awwing over your PRECIOUS baby! She looks like she has a LOT of personality!

We have that yucky wintry mix thing going, too. I'm up at 5:40 am to take my husband to the train so he doesn't have to drive in it.

Can't wait to see your exchange stitching & finishing when it's all ready.

oh and I love the new blog look!

  20. What a cutie :)
Love the new look blog - I've been thinking about changing mine too as it reallly does not say 'Tessa'
And yes, the photos really do stand out nicely with a white background and the posts are easy to read too.
