Needleworker...

Oh Happy Day!
My dear friends, any day with a gorgeous finish is a good day, right?
I knew from the first moment I laid eyes upon this beauty that I was going to stitch it up as FAST as I could! May I present my Spring Break start and finish:

"Needleworker"

2013 Nashville Hoffman Exclusive

Little House Needleworks
and
Crescent Colours

stitched on 30 ct. Creek Bed Brown R&R linen

This design hits *all* of my favorites and toots every one of my whistles and dings my every bell :)
First the colors are perfect for my home: Rich Rust Red, Burnt Umber Browns, Black...
Not to mention:

The Needle and Thread...

So...
what did you stash from Nashville? Anything grab you immediately and get your juices percolating? I'd like to hear from you!

We...
are enjoying Spring Break here in good old B-town and winding the week down with a quick visit to the grandparents homes and a few last minute good times, then it is back to the grind.

Thank you...
ever so much for coming to visit with me and share my love for stitching and my excitement for this finish!

Until next time...
I'll be keeping my hands to work and heart to God, just like always...and I'll be digging down in my bag to see what I pull out next!

Hugs in stitches,
Vonna xxx

  3. Love the new finish! This one reminds me of those wooden signs with the written quotes on them. So sweet! My fave from Nashville was the Saxony from GigiR, I LOVE it! :) Have a fun weekend!

  5. Love it, Vonna. You did such a beautiful job stitching it. I was attracted to the crow, as well, but then you knew I would, LOL!

  7. Very beautiful, I can't wait to start mine. The bigger question, what didn't I buy from Nashville? My LNS bought all kinds of goodies for me....Crumpets and Tea, Three tulips, chicks, several all through the nights...I spent $150. First thing Monday morning when she returned....I'm in heaven!

  8. This new piece caught my eye as well. Beautiful finsih! I also love Honeybee Hill from BBD. That one is on its way to my front door.

  10. Love this! I am going to order it soon. Another one I liked from Nashville was Stacy Nash Primitive's new "Spring at Hollyberry Farm." I just started her "Christmas at Hollyberry Farm" sampler and love it. But I also just bought LHN's "Mary Ann Meyers" chart...I am a glutton for punishment! But then, stitching really isn't punishment. :)

  14. Very cute Vonna. I especially like the crow with the thread in his mouth - can't you just see him pulling it all out from the needle?

  15. Love your finish. I was thrilled to see Kathy Barrick designing again and couldn't for the Strawberry Bird design. It is finished and at the framer. Of course, I was so thrilled to get it framed I forgot to take a picture for the blog. Hopefully, I will have it next week.

  17. Wonderful finish Vonna! This was my favorite thing from market this time and I love the linen color. My LNS doesn't carry the R&R linens much anymore but I think I'll order me some of this. :) I love your other recent LHN sheep finishes, your bowl of joy is looking good! Hope you and the family have a great Easter.

  29. I am in love with this one but am already halfway done with LHN home of a needle worker 2. If I wasn't so far along I would have jumped on this one too. We are off soon to the big Houston rodeo today for some fried delights and carnival rides. Enjoy your spring break!

I grabbed the Dream Big from market. I hope mine comes out as lovely as your model.

  46. I *love* this design. It totally speaks to me, and I'm thinking it will have to be added to my stash collection. If all goes well, I might even be able to stitch it starting next month. Can't wait to get back to some regular stitching time!!

  47. I love this piece and need I say what a beautiful finish? I do have this but missed it at market. She only brought two home and one was there when dd went to see if I'd missed them both. Why can't I just zap all these beautiful things done as quickly as I used to??

  48. Lovely as always! I have the "Needleworker" and all the fixins too, can't wait to get a start on it.
I also fell in love with Jeanette Douglas's "Four Seasons", so got it and the thread pack. Costly, but oh so lovely! Haven't decided what fabric to do it on yet. I will be going to PTP in April so will surely find the perfect piece of fabric for it.
I also got BBD "Three Tulips", who could resist it?
Thanks for taking the time to show us your finsihes, always love to stop by and see what you have for us.
