Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
~I Corinthians 13: 4-8
This beautiful verse...
was read on my wedding day and is beautifully represented to me by the February Little House Sheep Virtue. May I present my version of:
"Love"
Little Sheep Virtues Series
by Little House Needleworks ~ Diane Williams
copyright 2013
stitched on 30 ct. Weeks Dye Works Cocoa
with DMC threads
Mounted on Palomino Weeks Dye Works Wool
and here they are together in my treenware bowl :)
They are looking...
so cute together! And I am loving watching my flock grow each month!
There has been...
some inquiring minds about how I stitch the pillows together so I made a tutorial for those of you that may be interested. Of course this can translate into any finish, not just the Sheep Virtues. So interested parties may find the tutorial: HERE
I also need to mention that many people ask me how I button hole stitch so there is a pictorial part in the tutorial about that as well. :)
So what is up next?...
well I must finish a model, then it is on to my Hometown and the Holidays ;) if you catch my drift!
Until the next time...
my dear buddies, I'll be keeping my hands at work and heart to God, just like always!
Hugs in stitches,
Vonna xxx
