"Think Big"
by Country Cottage Needleworks ~ Nikki Leeman
I stitched the model and finished it for Nikki.
Isn't it ADORABLE!?!?!
"Orchard Valley Quilting Bee"
by Little House Needleworks ~ Diane Williams
I stitched this model for Diane. It is a biggie! I started in June and finished in late September.
I stitched exclusively on it during those months. And I must say that I enjoyed each and every stitch. The finished product, as you can see, is simply cute as a button. I am proud to tell you that this very model now hangs proudly in my entry way and I am SO in love with it :)
and finally....
what about the NEW Little House Series...
"Hometown Holiday"
oh goodness....be still my heart! :)

Vonna,
ReplyDeleteBoth finishes are beautiful! I love your work. Recently I finished two ornaments and I used your tutorials. I love your tutorials as they are so easy to use.
Thank you for keeping me inspired!
I'm signing up to join the Hometown Holidays Blog. This sounds like a lot of fun!
Hugs in Stitches!
As always your stitching and finishing is simply amazing Vonna. "Think Big" is whispering my name...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stitching! Please count me in for both blogs - woo hoo!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stitching Vonna.
ReplyDeleteThey are all so adorable. Great finish on Think Big. I will probably get the LHN's but don't know when I'll stitch them.
ReplyDeleteYour models are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching and finishing! I think that it's great that you got to keep the model.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I want them all! I'm already on the other two blogs you've set up, so I'm going to have to wait in these, but I sure don't want to.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stitching and finishing!
As usual Vonna your stitching is beautiful and Diane has once again designed some wonderful charts! I can't wait for the hometown holidays.
ReplyDeleteAs a side note, you need to stitch that Nantucket Rose piece. It's gorgeous!
Beautiful stitching and I am very tempted by them all!!
ReplyDeleteOh my!!! Love the models you stitched! Especially the biggie. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThose designs are both so cute, Vonna--I can see why you enjoyed stitching each of them so very much...
ReplyDeleteLove the orchard valley design - beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous as always :) love the country cottage needleworks one :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about that. My comment accidentally published before I was finished. I was saying that I'm trying so hard to be good about stash additions but Diane and Nikki are making it very difficult for me.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is a lovely piece!
ReplyDeleteTempting! Especially the Hometown Holiday! But I need to practice self-control, so I'll watch from the sidelines!
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so pretty! I really love that carrot and bunny, though.
ReplyDeleteOh I so want to stitch that cute little Country Cottage bunny. It is interesting to see how Nikki is really developing her own design style over the years. CJ in OK
ReplyDeleteVonna I love your work!!! Orchard valley is beautiful. I just ordered it so when it hits the shop she will be sending me one. Cant wait.

Hilda
Your wonderfully beautiful model stitching makes me love them all, but it is especially hard to resist the Hometown Holiday, for me!
ReplyDelete(Hope this isn't a duplicate comment.)
Such pretty patterns and very beautifully finished. By the way, I used help from your finishing tutorials to finish the cottages and they came out great. Thanks :)
ReplyDeleteBoth your models are stunning. I saw Orchard Valley and I must confess I do covet it, but I am stitching purely from stash this year, so no new charts for me:(
ReplyDeleteOh my! These models are so beautiful - I realise that I love cross stitching and need more time. Now I just have to order both of these as well! If it wasn't Lent I would covet Orchard Valley!Autumn is looming here, so more time for stitching!! Thank you for being an inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour models are beautiful done !! I orderd the two LHN patterns yesterday and the second sheep .... can't wait to start on these.
ReplyDeleteSend you an email for taking part in the two new blogs !
Wow Vonna!! You have been really busy! I love the two you have stitched, especially the quilting one.... I may have to do that one for SURE! :) How have you been? I hope all is well for you and your sweet family!
ReplyDeleteYour finishing and model stitch are lovely but none of these designs really grabbed me this time. Maybe the next batch will instead :)
ReplyDeleteLove Think Big! It's adorable. I agree Hometown Holiday is wonderful. Will have to add to my to buy list!! :) Thanks
ReplyDeleteOh, I dearly love the quilting bee picture. It is stunning !! I know I'll be adding this to my stash. What an honor to stitch the model. Thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching and finishes.
ReplyDeleteVonna, I've changed where I'm blogging from and am trying to get used to posting comments from my new platform. Sorry if I comment more than once. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're work is beautiful! My daughter is started the journey of fostering to adopt and (hopefully) becoming a grandmother has made me very creative. I have a couple of projects in the works, one of them being a cross stitch for the baby's room. Excited!
