I am thrilled...
with how each one turned out. Each one took my breath away as my framer unfolded the brown paper from them to get my approval before I took them home. I am proud of the work that I accomplish with my hands and out of love for the hobby that brings me so much joy. I don't know why more people don't do this...the sense of accomplishment, satisfaction, tradition and knowledge that someday my children and theirs will have on their walls a little piece of me. May it be so...
Thank you all...
for your continued visits and comments on my stitching here, it brings me great happiness to know that people read my jumbled thoughts :)
And please know, I really try hard to visit all of you at your little piece of bloggie goodness too.
Until next time...
I'll be keeping my 'hands to work and heart to God', join in with me!
Hugs and love,

Simply beautiful. Makes me want to finish some projects.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and I really love the frames. Have you run out of wall space or do you rotate your works. These are truly works of art.
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful! I especially love the two tone wood of the Soar Sampler. The inner lighter wood picks up the color you used for the fencing really nicely.
ReplyDeleteI cannot express my happiness with the Soar Sample....it is absolutely beautiful, I hope to hang it in a very special place when I get my little retirement home built. I will think of you and all the fun we had this past spring watching and chatting about the eagles in Iowa. What a wonderful gift from a wonderful daughter.
ReplyDeleteLove, Mom
Words cannot express how pretty those are!I thought I was in love with the first one...and then I saw the other two!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Vonna, what eye candy! Love all the frames but especially Soar. Any one of them would be welcome on my walls!

ReplyDeleteWOW! WOW! WOW! All 3 finishes are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteOMGosh!!! Those are GORGEOUTIFUL!!!LOL...Too beautiful to be JUST beautiful, and too gorgeous to JUST be gorgeous!! I have freakin' goosebumps!!! I hope that whoever gets your beautiful pieces of stitching when you leave this earth really understand the legacy and beauty you are leaving to them. That's the thing I always wonder "When I'm gone, what will people think about my stitching? will it end up in some pile to be sold at a garage sale or will it be loved by someone who has an appreciation for the craft?" I worry that people will just be like "Eh, what's this? Hmmm...throw it in the thrift store pile" When I've put so much time and LOVE into each piece I've stitched. Ok, signing off now! Those really are gorgeous!
