Here's my reproduction thread chest that holds all my DMC on plastic bobbins.

Well now it's time to say goodbye to Stitcher and her kin.
But they would like to thank you folks 'fer kindly droppin' in.
You're all invited back again to this locality,
To have a heapin' helpin' of their hospitality.
The Twisted Stitcher that is...sit a spell, take your shoes off, have questions? Leave your e-mail!
Ya'll come back now, ya, hear?
Nice set-up Vonna!
ReplyDeleteVonna,
ReplyDeleteLove the new organizational addition. I think I may have to look for that when finances free up a little.
Thanks for the looksee....oh, and don't worry about the two picnic baskets, I have just as much!
Jennifer
OMG Vonna I have one of those. Mine is a little more colorful and from Costco. It is now being used for the Avon I sell, but I'm quitting in a couple of months. Can you guess what I'll be using it for then :) I love your stitching area.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!!! I wish I could come over right now to stitch and have show and tell!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks so comfy. I wish I could have an area like that. With a 16 month old though, it is only a dream.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

Nice purchase.
ReplyDeleteYour stitchy corner looks soooo cozy
Your setup is wonderful I love it. I wish I had room like that. But someday I will :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely space to spend time stitching.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet spot for stitchin!
ReplyDelete(loved your a&e finish a few posts back)....
and your guy is a sweetie, future craft room...my stars ... a match made in heaven....to be sure!
Oh wow! First off, congrats on finishing A for the PS Alphabets! I need to get back to that, don't I? lol! And next, wow wow! I love that organizer you found at Office Depot! What do you bet they sell out of it now? lol! I love your stitchy chair and your DMC thread cabinet, and everything. Looks so comfy and inviting! Now sit and enjoy and stitch! :D
ReplyDeleteCute set up Vonna! Go ahead, hit the chair my friend:)
ReplyDeleteSweet Stitchin...
Thanks Vonna for sharing. I was wondering what it looked like. Nice set up for stitching. I could use a nice chair. It is nothing like being organized to be productive.
ReplyDeleteHappy Stitching!
Gayle
What a great stitching spot! I love it and I am a tad jealous of your chair. It looks so comfy.
ReplyDeleteLove all your organizing too! And your DH is a sweetie to buy your super-duper organizer!!
I love your area! And the organizer is a must for me too! Very nice.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love that organizer. I thinks me needs one too! I love your stitching area. Such organization.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to start the new year! Nice of that hubby to make you so happy..
ReplyDeleteI love PJ days ~ maybe next Sunday for me.. football playoffs and staying indoors!
That is a great stitching spot! I tend to move all over the house, so your nicely organized spot makes me think that I need a permanent home!
ReplyDeleteFabulous organizer! I love how everything is set up and decorated. Makes me want to sit and stitch too :)
ReplyDeleteNice set up! And a very comfy looking armchair too!
ReplyDeleteI love all of your organizing! I've got all my DMC in those little nut and bolt type drawers. They sure would like something roomier. You've got a great setup.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Looks like a great stitching space, Vonna. One thing I don't like about my space is no natural light - what I'd give to have a window in my craft room!
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing the drawer--I was wondering if it was the one I'd seen there a while back. Yup, the same, only 2 columns of shelves in grey instead of one in pink (which was what I had seen) I love your stitching area and especially your longabergers! My mom had some as I was going up, and I would love some, too! Too bad they have to be done through parties (or can you just order them online these days?)
ReplyDeleteYour stitching corner looks so cozy! Thanks for sharing pictures, Vonna!
ReplyDeleteHi Vonna,
ReplyDeleteVery nice stitching area!
Do you know if the System 4 Q-snap frame will hold a regular scroll frame?
I'd love a close up of your repro thread chest!
ReplyDeleteI saw the same drawer set up this weekend. It comes in a smaller version of the one your purchased as well. It looks good in your living room and I love your stitching set up!
That is really nice hon!
ReplyDeletewell organised place . thank you for sharing the pictures
ReplyDeleteOh girl, I lurve your stitching chair and its surroundings. What a comfy, cozy place!
ReplyDeleteVonna, you have TWO picnik baskets filled with WIPs??? Thank you SO much for sharing this with us, because now I don't feel so bad about my two WIP drawers. They're significantly smaller than your baskets. Hooray! I'm off to start some new things...
Great stitching corner - please can I come round to play?
ReplyDeleteOoh, fantastic drawer organizer! It's so nice, isn't it, when you can just go right to the drawer and find something.
ReplyDeleteMakes me want to go there and stitch too! I love your new storage piece. I may have to consider getting one of those.
ReplyDeleteWow, very nice set up, Vonna! I love the chair, too, and the lamp. Very cozy!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great organizer! My favorite is the frame stand though. I really need one of those to take the strain off at least hand and my shoulder. Maybe I can talk DH into getting me one.
ReplyDeleteI love that reproduction chest! I have two wooden chests (much smaller) for my floss...wish I could find a large one like that to stuff everything inside. I don't like those little partitioned plastic boxes.
ReplyDeleteOh Vonna,,.your stash area is inspiring and your stitching area is a stitchers heaven....how blessed you are, thanks for showing us pics. :)
ReplyDeleteHugs and enjoy!
Ma
PS: Where would we girls be without plastic bins and Longaberger :)
Very nice area. Isn't it nice to be so organized? Maybe you could have everyone over for a weekend of stitching!
ReplyDeleteBrendaS
I'm catching up on posts. Love your BBD stockings all finished. Fabulous job. And your stitching area looks so neat and organized. Sigh. I wonder if I will ever get mine done. :) Oh well, one of these days.
ReplyDeleteNow as for all those wips. Please don't feel bad. I have a basket (as large as yours), a hassock with a lid that's filled, a pile on my end table, the coffee table, a chair in the library, ........ And I am sure there are a few more hiding around here somewhere.
LOL
Vonna, you have a beautiful stitching corner. Love the drawer organizer and I'm so envious of your stitching stand! I've always wanted one but am hesitant on committing to one over another.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely set up you have! Everything looks so neat and organized, but most of all it looks very comfy cozy!
ReplyDeleteLove your new drawers for organizing,Vonna! I have a similar, smaller set that is dreadfully chaotic right now. It's sitting downstairs waiting for me to reorganize it and take it back upstairs to sit next to my stitching chair. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat set up! That 15-drawer bit looks like it would hold a lot. You can never have too much storage as a stitcher. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great organizer Vonna. So much space for all your stitching things. We stitchers can never have enough space (well, maybe we would if we didn't stash so much! LOL)!!
ReplyDeleteWant to come and organize me? Looking like a BEAUTIFUL setup and I love how you have natural light coming in over your shouldar, I think I need to change my livingroom around now...
ReplyDeleteOH OHHHHHHHHHHHH my.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great spot.
Lucky girl.
Catherine
I am working on a spot in my family room to be a stitching spot and I love that drawer set.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your stitching corner with us. Sometimes I need some ideas on how I can better organise my own stitching.
ReplyDeleteWow!! Love your whole area!! So organized and efficient. :) Want to come to my house and organize me? LOL! I'm pretty organized, but my organization is not nearly as decorative. Love the baskets, the drawers, the table set up, the scissors, everything!
ReplyDeleteYou have a great stitching area! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool organizer! I really need something better than a basket that I have stuffed in my coat closet :) Your stitching area looks so cozy, too!
ReplyDeletehi can you please tell me where to get the frame & stand you are using. thanks Judy
ReplyDeleteI love seeing how different stitchers set up their stitching areas. Yours looks like a wonderful relaxing place, Vonna :)
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your stitching corner of the world! I think we should have a blogger's stitching corner picture day so we could visit all the blogs and check out everyone's special space. That's not too nosy, is it?
ReplyDeleteI just love looking at other peoples stitching corners. Thanks for sharing. What a fabulous place to sit and sew!
ReplyDeleteI love the organizer. I will have to look for one of those.
Congrats on finishing your first ABC block. It is looking great! I'm getting a slow start, but I'm excited to work on this project!
Your stitching throne looks very comfy and right by a cheerie window. Is that a scissor collection up on the wall? Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat new organizer...As a joke I should post a picture of my craft closet ~ I just might, it would give you a chuckle.
ReplyDeleteWhy so few threads in that snazzy ORT jar??? :)
BTW: That is the nicest chair!
At last! A work place that resembles my own-LOL! My chair is always surrounded with at least 4 projects going at one and piled to the side and under foot. I just cleared it all away this week and stuck the piles in my bedroom to try to organize but I just know the piles will magically creep back into the den! I am my Mother's child all right! Kerrie
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful set up you have now with the new 15 Drawer organizer! LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteVonna, The fabric on your charis is to die for. Just what I would want for myself. Love it. Now another question for you. Where did you get that great tree that you have your stockings hanging on? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you get so much stitching done! What a great stitching spot you have.
ReplyDeleteLove your PS "A" and BBD January stockings -- 2010 is off to a fabulous start!
Your stitching room looks inviting and I sure wish I had that neat system 4 stand of yours too! The drawer organizer is nice!
ReplyDeleteIt looks so cozy, Vonna!! :D
ReplyDeleteWow, that's one awesome looking stitching area - makes me want to climb in and start stitching myself! :D
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!! I wished I lived in your house. Love that 15 draw thingy. And the wooden chest too. Faberoo! x
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your stitching area. I always love to see what others use for their stitching "nook". Also, the apples and LC cheese is also my fav WW snack. (i count points too!)
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Chavrie goat cheese? (Publix sells it here in Alabama) it's 1 pt for tblspoon and it's to die for on Honeycrisp or pink lady apples! I am in love with that stuff!
Very nice.I love stitching area!
ReplyDeleteHappy day.
