***This Lovely pattern is coming SOON to a shop near you!***
Adorable isn't it?! It's on my list...definitely! I can see it now sitting on my mantle with maybe those little bales of straw and some white and orange pumpkins, maybe a crow perched on one....

Oh, my gosh. This little sampler brought tears to my eyes. When my dad retired, he turned his gardening hobby into a small gourd stand, which evolved into a farmer's market at his home. He and Mom offered fresh-picked veggies all summer, ending with pumpkins at Halloween.
ReplyDeleteSadly, we lost Dad this past November to a brain tumor. I want to stitch this little cutie as a tribute to "The Gourd Man".
Thanks for sharing it with us! I will call my LNS in Fort Wayne tomorrow and ask them to order it for me.

OH MY!!! I NEED this...like immediately! And I love how you've finished it Vonna!
ReplyDeleteThis is just darling! I'll look for it at my LNS. Beautiful finish!
ReplyDeleteThis one is going on my list NOW
ReplyDeleteOohh1 I love the white pumpkin! I am starting to stitch for fall now.
ReplyDeleteI know I think it is just the sweetest fall design. And whoever did the finishing on this one did a great job, Oh wait, it was you LOL You did good :)
ReplyDeleteI also like the other new one "A walk in the park"
It's a must have design and your finishing is great !!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! Wish we did more halloween stuff here. Sorry to read you had been 'critiqued'. Honestly, there is no need is there. I have used lots of your tutorials always successfully. Sometimes I have had to adapt slightly, but my work is not the same as yours. My coffee is a different brand, my tea bags may be stronger etc, so always your tutorials have been used with a little common sense...leading to perfect results.
ReplyDeletePlease do not stop producing tutorials. They are inspirational and give us novice finishers the inspiration to give it a go!
It's a super work!
ReplyDeleteThis is sweet! What is the finish? It looks like you wrapped it around a brick LOL, but I know that can't be right.. :)
ReplyDeleteJade
Vonna, This is adorable and has certainly gotten me thinking about fall! Hope you had a good weekend. Mere
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a beauty. it's perfectly squared-off, is it on a brick? I have a brick doorstop that has yet to be finished. Never made on before.
ReplyDeleteYour 'sweet-treat' idea from the last post is great...if I could only keep my hands out of the freezer. Much like the Girl Scouts say that the cookies can be frozen for storage....storage? what's that? They hardly last more then a day anyway!
Good morning girl! I spent some time catching up on your blog this morning. I felt like I was sitting in your kitchen having coffee and we were talking over the past couple of weeks.
ReplyDeleteLove the pumpkins. Sure understand your frustration with VS.
Kiddies look so cute and eager on their first day of school.
Have a great week my friend!
Love it! You did such a good job with it too. Gorgeous! I love LHN designs!

ReplyDeleteThat is a great design and your finishe is absolutely lovely Vonna! Where do you find the time? I'm such a lame bunny that I never finish anything. Perhaps I'll be sending you some things to finish up for me because your finishing is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteLove this design! And expertly finished! I was actually going to say that this one belongs on the mantle, but you beat you to it!
