Soon there will be....

Frost on the pumpkins....
so isn't that handy that Diane Williams of Little House Needleworks is releasing this cutie?!

"Pumpkins 4-Sale"
Designed by: Diane Williams of Little House Needleworks
***This Lovely pattern is coming SOON to a shop near you!***

Adorable isn't it?! It's on my list...definitely! I can see it now sitting on my mantle with maybe those little bales of straw and some white and orange pumpkins, maybe a crow perched on one....

  1. Oh, my gosh. This little sampler brought tears to my eyes. When my dad retired, he turned his gardening hobby into a small gourd stand, which evolved into a farmer's market at his home. He and Mom offered fresh-picked veggies all summer, ending with pumpkins at Halloween.
Sadly, we lost Dad this past November to a brain tumor. I want to stitch this little cutie as a tribute to "The Gourd Man".
Thanks for sharing it with us! I will call my LNS in Fort Wayne tomorrow and ask them to order it for me.

  8. I love it!!! Wish we did more halloween stuff here. Sorry to read you had been 'critiqued'. Honestly, there is no need is there. I have used lots of your tutorials always successfully. Sometimes I have had to adapt slightly, but my work is not the same as yours. My coffee is a different brand, my tea bags may be stronger etc, so always your tutorials have been used with a little common sense...leading to perfect results.
Please do not stop producing tutorials. They are inspirational and give us novice finishers the inspiration to give it a go!

  9. This is sweet! What is the finish? It looks like you wrapped it around a brick LOL, but I know that can't be right.. :)

  11. Oh, that's a beauty. it's perfectly squared-off, is it on a brick? I have a brick doorstop that has yet to be finished. Never made on before.
Your 'sweet-treat' idea from the last post is great...if I could only keep my hands out of the freezer. Much like the Girl Scouts say that the cookies can be frozen for storage....storage? what's that? They hardly last more then a day anyway!
