Yesterday....my Mama surprised me with an Easter Gift it was the Easter Basket by Jim Shore and here it is:
Isn't it pretty :o) She said she wanted to get me a surprise for Easter and because I'm always good to her (like I'd be mean) and because I've done good on my diet (24 lbs. to date!). My first Jim Shore piece was St. Frances that My MIL gave me for Christmas...my collection has grown by leaps and bounds as you'll see:

Your new Easter basket is lovely! What a good mom you have! Your whole collection is just great. I have a large snowman, but that's it. I would certainly like to add more! Oh and congratulations on your weight loss-that is truly and accomplishment.

pretty darn cool. Lovely choice
of fabric, and the purple makes
the design POP! Were the ruffles
difficult to make??
The finishing that you did for
Nancy Boyarski looks amazing.
I think my favourite is the ruler
holder, which you don't see too
often. The cross stitch design
on it is my favourite of the set
as well.
The Christmas ornament that you
stitched for Julianne, a Quaker
design all in red, is very
striking and I love the little
bobble that you made for the
bottom of it. The ornament for
Jill is cute too, and the finish
is certainly different. Black
backgrounds always make whatever
is stitched on it really stand out, doesn't it?
