So....this is where I left Bee Man the last time I stitched on it:
I'm stitching....... this one on 40 ct. purely primitive by Silkweavers and the color is much more true to life in picture #2. It's a nice fabric that I bought on a whim and sure am glad I did. I think that I will stitch all of the Colonial Garden Series on 40 ct. purely primitive.
So....that does it for me for today. Maybe I'll get in another post before the weekend, who knows?! So until next time.....love and best wishes, as you count your blessings and your stitches, from our house to yours! XXxxxx

Bee Man looks great, Vonna! Sure sounds like you had a lovely stitch-free weekend! Know you will make up for it!
ReplyDeleteEven though you didn't get any stitching done on the weekend, I think you've still made some great progress on Bee Man.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking great! Love the color of the fabric. Hope you had fun on your date with your Hubby. It's always nice to do that!
ReplyDeleteBee-Man is looking great!
ReplyDeleteVonna,
ReplyDeleteYou're making short work of Bee Man.. I love the pattern and would love to stitch it but I don't own the pattern.
Looking great. Lovely choice of fabric colour
ReplyDeleteThat looks Great!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you had a great date with your man! I love your stitching piece! You rock, girl!
ReplyDeleteBee Man is gorgeous, I have a love of bee designs. (Don't know why, because I am scared of bees.) I once stitched on some Silkweaver fabric and I found it so beautiful to work on.
ReplyDeleteGreat progress ... I love the color of the fabric ... so glad that the second picture shows it much truer to live. Isn't amazing what having the right lighting can do to the look of the fabric when you take a picture of it?
ReplyDeleteLovely fabric and gorgeous stitching :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful my dear! I love the fabby color.
ReplyDeleteBee Man is just great! I'm looking forward to seeing the others done-great fabric as well!
ReplyDeleteIt's really coming along Vonna!
ReplyDeletelooks great Vonna! Well if you didn't get numb butt syndrome, i sure did! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe Bee Man is looking fabulous! I wasn't aware of that design (and I have a LARGE collection of beehive/bee patterns) so thank you for enabling - I've added it to my wishlist :o)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely stitching!
ReplyDeleteHave you got the charts yet? If not they should be with you very soon.
Best wishes,
Lynda.
Hi Vonna, Bee Man is looking lovely and the fabric is just right although the thought of 40ct scares me silly, I've just started on 32ct! I too have had many a weekend where you do 'stuff' but have nothing to show. Glad you got to go on your date. Have a great week x
ReplyDeleteBee Man is coming along very nicely :)
ReplyDeleteAs I just said out loud when I saw the latest Bee Man WIP pic, "Oooh, fabulouso!". It's beautiful! YGG. I ordered some Purely Primitive to get going on mine & just got a notice that it shipped. I asked for splotchiness so it'll be interesting to see what it looks like when it arrives. I had a great piece for Sarah Tobias that I used, loved it so much & ordered more, and the second piece didn't have any mottling.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you had a good weekend. As much as I love having a numb backside, it's also nice to look out past my linen and notice that the world is going by and jump in the game & go with the flow. It makes the times when you do get to stitch that much more pleasurable!
I have those weekends alot! Sometimes even weeks! LOL! Bee Man is looking wonderful! What a great pattern!
ReplyDeleteBee Man is looking purdy good! I love the fabric you chose...I'm going to have to get some. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's such a pretty sampler, and your stitching is as perfect as always! Nice progress!
ReplyDeleteI really like the Bee Man!
ReplyDeleteBee Man looks wonderful! I really like the verse. I'm looking forward to seeing it completed!
ReplyDeleteExcellent progress Vonna :) I love the fabric color! Can't wait to see it finished!
ReplyDeleteLooks Fantastic..
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I have entire weeks like your weekend. Can't tell you what I did, can't show you either, but I must have done something cause I wasn't resting and I wasn't stitching!
ReplyDeleteGood progress on Bee Man.
Happy Stitching!
I just popped over from Jess's blog. I love your stitchery. It's absolutely gorgeous!!!

Bee Man is buzzing right along! Love the 40ct. Purely Primitive but my eyes surely do not ;)
ReplyDeleteTracy
Here's wishing you another weekend where Monday you wonder what you did :) Seems like those are pretty nice weekends.
ReplyDeleteI haven't gotten much done this weekend either. I feel like I've been so busy, but I don't really know what I've gotten done. hahaha!
ReplyDeleteThe bee man looks great! I wouldn't have know you didn't work on it this weekend if you didn't post!
The bee man reminds me of when my house was infested by bees about a year ago. There were so many of them, they are all gone now.
It is amazing how much you have accomplished without working on it during the weekend. I can't wait until GH releases Book 3. Looks great and I am looking forward to seeing more progress!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress Vonna! I can't wait until the Goode Huswife releases these! :)
ReplyDeleteBee Man is looking great, hope this w/end is good :)

ReplyDeleteI am heading into the weekend with needle in hand but not too sure what to stitch...Hope you find lots of time for stitching, ENJOY.
Your Bee Man looks great! Those bees are so cute. The fabric really nice and the GH Colonial Garden series will look good on it.
ReplyDeleteBee Man is wonderful! I have a friend who is a bee keeper, and he keeps us in honey year round - I'll have to think about stitching this for him & his wife!
ReplyDeleteThe Bee Man looks great. You are making great progress. The 40 ct linen is a nice choice. I enjoy the inspiriation and such great posts. You are nominated for a blog award sense you are one of my favorite blogs. Gayle
