The BEST things in life...
The BEST things in life are those small tokens of little material value but given straight from the heart....this is what my daugther, Katie, gave me today after school. Made just for me for my birthday (which is more than a month away but couldn't wait to give it to me). It is glazed clay, molded by her own little hands - a Mama bluebird (my favorite color) in a nest:

Well now it's time to say goodbye to Stitcher and her kin.
But they would like to thank you folks 'fer kindly droppin' in.
You're all invited back again to this locality,
To have a heapin' helpin' of their hospitality.
The Twisted Stitcher that is...sit a spell, take your shoes off, have questions? Leave your e-mail!
Ya'll come back now, ya, hear?

Aren't those the BEST gifts?!?! And yours is especially sweet :) We have a whole shelf of treasures molded by the kiddos' little hands...and it is so precious to see how proud they are of them too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the RIT website info, think I'm gonna have to go get more fabric to try some of those combos out (and when hubby asks why I need more fabric, I'm gonna blame you, LOL!!!)
What a precious gift!!! It brings back memories when Mike made me a clay porcupine (it looked like a nose with spikes). I still have it on my desk at work.
