(Now if I just looked *that* good drinking it!)
No one can make me smile more than Ben Bailey on my favorite T.V. show "CASH CAB"!
Ben is such a cutie! and funny too :)

My husband ~ Keith ~

Tienes una familia encantadora!!y me encanta tu blog un saludo
ReplyDeleteFun post, using pictures to show what you love was fun to see. I totally agree with the Coke one, if I can have a can of that everything starts to look up. Also, I'm addicted to LHN and CCN designs too, they make me smile.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you were feeling under the weather in your previous post. Hopefully you're feeling better now and it passed quickly.
Your Hope Perches pillow turned out awesome. I love the saying, the stitching is so pretty, and the finishing is great. Add to that it's in blues (my favorite color). If you decide you don't want it anymore, I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands. :)

Hi Vonna,
ReplyDeleteI think it's a great idea to list the things that you love for Valentine's Day. And aside from the important stuff, such as family and friends, books and cross stitch, and my cats, I'd agree with your listing of the Cheeseburger and Fries. Yum!!! Makes me long for barbecue season.
Hope Perches turned out to be such a pretty stitch, but I think that has a lot to do with the finishing job that you did Vonna. The design it self is pretty plain, though cute. But you've turned it into a beautiful pillow, with fabric that accents the colour in the lettering, and the lace which adds a daintiness to the piece. I love this finish.
But we all know that for you, beautiful as your stitching is, your finishing is your true forte.
I love how you finished the basket off for the Winter Exchange. From the lining in the basket, to the lovely lid, it's all gorgeous!!
Your new stitching stand looks really nice, and very practical and functional. We've come a long way from those old wooden floor stands, with the strip of fabric that you had to sew your project to. No place to put our charts, or anything. Your model demonstrates the stand off quite professionally. No doubt a future stitcher in training.
Cheers!
I'm starting off your week by tagging you! Check out my blog for details.
ReplyDeleteToo funny...loved all your "love" pictures :) Kev is with ya' on good food and coke :) And I must say even in my nauseous stupor...that burger does look good :) Hope you're doing well and feeling better this week...miss ya' and see ya' next week...Kel :)
ReplyDeleteOh I just love your post Vonna. Nice to see pictures of the family. No wonder you are so proud of them all. I hope you are feeling more like yourself soon.
ReplyDeleteDH wants to go to "Burgers and Beer" for our anniversary next week and why not, eh. Hugs
and I love how when I visit your blog Vonna, I always feel much better about life, it is nice to be reminded that the small things that are actually the big things {{{{{{Vonna}}}}}}
