Dearest Katie, I had waited for her for so long and here! She was! She was born at 34 weeks, I had premature rupture of membranes. I think she came so early because she was ready and I wanted her so much! :)
She grew and grew (look at those legs!) :)
She loved ice cream fudge bars....she was just 22 mos. old here and the ruler of all...little did she know that in two short months time, she'd have her solo place uprooted by a bunch of upstarts! :)
Here she is today, my pride and my joy. Dearest Katie, you are our special one, our first baby brought home from the hospital. You shine like the brightest of stars and bring light to our days. We love you with all our hearts! Happy 10th Birthday! ~our love~

ReplyDeleteMy firstborn is a dd too, and what a blessing she's been. She was definitely my right-hand girl all her growing up years. I tell all first-time expecting moms that I recommend having a daughter first! Lol!
