Baby "A" (Ian) and Baby "B" (Jacob)We brought them home on Friday, December 15 after 11 days in the hospital due to their prematurity (I had been in the hospital for 6 weeks on Magnesium sulfate to stop/hold off my labor). Only Ian had issues with breathing because he was the heaviest and had to be put on a C-Pap to remember to breathe. He was on for 48 hours. Jacob, took his first breath crying and was fine because he didn't have as much mass to move when he breathed.

They did a lot of sleeping like this and 8 years later, no matter what we try, they still sleep like this, minus the pacies :)
They've been buddies from the first moment and remain that way today, rarely arguing, always being the best of friends - two halves making a whole.

Baby B today -JacobMommy and Daddy's sweet little boys, you bring us joy and laughter all our days. Gone are the days of Thomas the Tank Engine and today are the days of Bionicles and Legos. I scarcely can believe these 8 years are gone, for I remember anxiously anticipating your birth. No matter how big you grow and how tall you are, you shall always remain Mommy's little boys.

Those are priceless, Vonna...simply priceless. What a blessing you have in all your kids. Wow...8 years...that time went like lightnight speed didn't it!? ReplyDeleteVonna, seeing those pictures of your baby boys brought memories of my own twins' births flooding back, except mine were not premature. Enjoy these days of Legos and Bionicles as they pass quickly too, altho I do sometimes hear that familiar rustle of legos emanating from their room now and then. :D You never really outgrow legos do you?
