I been a busy bee this weekend! Hurray for me :) It was the perfect weekend...laid back, lots of crafting and family time...AND my DH and I went on a date! Yippee!
The only thing I can show you is, my Round #3 Fair and Square friendship squares finished off into a pinkeep. These were stitched by my partner for this round Staci (who doesn't have a blog). Here they are: (pictures are clickable for clarity)

I also finished 2 stitched birthday presents!!! Whoop!!! Those are going in the mail tomorrow so An and Nicole...watch your mailboxes!Off to pull my projects for more exchanges and the Hello Neighbor RR.....
Until next time, may your needle dance across your canvas!
The pinkeep is so cute. I love it.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a grand time on your date!
Great finishing! You did a fantastic job with the squares you received.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finishes, Vonna! I really like the mattress pinkeep. I want to try that finishing technique sometime. Do you happen to have a tutorial for it?

ReplyDeleteWonderful finish on the F&S squares! I got my sewn into an ornament, but I still need to stuff and close it. ;)
ReplyDeleteWhoopee! Your pinkeep looks great. Staci stitched you some mighty fine squares! I wish I had decided to finish my squares into smalls: now I can't really do anything with them until I have enough to start my quilt!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO glad you took the time to relax this weekend. A restful weekend was long overdue, wasn't it? AND you've been on a date too! Good for you. You certainly deserve it!
PS. I will stand watch beside the mailbox...

As always your handiwork is beautiful, Vonna :) You definitely have a knack for what you do! Well, heck...you have a knack for being all-around wonderful, don't you!?! :) And what is this I hear about a date for you and that sweet husband. My oh my, I am a bit jealous over here...what I wouldn't give for a spare, quiet moment with my own hubby! Sounds like a blissful weekend! Glad you enjoyed a lil' family time and got some stitchin' done too! Love ya lots, Kel :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great pinkeep--I adore the little squirrels!
ReplyDeleteHi Vonna! Adorable pinkeep! A weekend of crafting.. yes, that is PERFECT!!! It is raining heavily here today - wish I was not at the office but at home stitching! This weather calls for it, not for working! (My first client agrees and cancelled due to her lack of interest in driving in the stuff too).
ReplyDeleteYour pinkeep is so pretty! That's nice that you and hubby got to go on a date. Movie, dinner? Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteYour pinkeep is very pretty! And I love the old sewing machine!
ReplyDeleteVonna,
